1997: Prototypes works with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to operate the Community Prisoner Mother Program (CPMP). The goal of CPMP is to provide a safe, stable and stimulating environment for women currently serving time in California's prison system. Focused on early child/parent bonding, the program allows mothers who are pregnant or who have children under the age of 6 to serve their sentence at Prototypes.
