Founded in 1967, Phoenix Houses of New England is one of the leading not for profit addiction treatment agencies in the local community. every year, it serves close to 4,000 people and guides them on the road to recovery. Most of its programs have also been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities - CART. - The facility offers recovery support and transitional living services to adults who live in the state of Vermont. It also runs the RISE - Recovery in an Independent Sober Environment - program. - The facility also works in close collaboration with the state Department of Corrections. By so doing, it provides a wide variety of substance abuse and addiction treatment and rehabilitation services - including onsite and outpatient treatment programs - to over 18 of the correctional facilities in the state of Vermont. - Through its Tapestry Program offered in Brattleboro, the Phoenix Houses of New England offers residential addition treatment to female offenders wo have been diagnosed with addiction and substance abuse.
