Since it opened its doors in 1971, the Northshore Youth and Family Services center has been a 501(c)(3) not for profit center serving the mental and behavioral health care needs of the local community. It has also been providing substance abuse and addiction treatment and therapy services to those in need. - The center offers highly comprehensive and affordable health care services to those struggling with poor mental health as well as to people who have been diagnosed with chemical dependence or substance use disorders within the community. - As a not for profit organization, it mostly focuses on offering addiction prevention programs, parenting classes, programs for young parents, outpatient addiction treatment, and mental health care, counseling and therapy. - These services are designed to be professional, culturally appropriate, and affordable so that the Northshore Youth and Family Services center can ensure that its clients get the education, support, and hope that they need to turn their lives around from poor health to wellness and recovery.
