The Northeast Iowa Mental Health Center believes that many families and individuals struggle with many challenges on a daily basis. These issues include but are not limited to substance use disorders and addiction, domestic abuse, identity concerns, parenting children and teens, grief, abandonment, blended families, and troubled relationships. Others also have issues linked to mental health disorders, including bipolar disorder, anxiety, ad depression. - To this end, the center offers both ongoing group and individual counseling as well as immediate crisis counseling and therapy services for people struggling with substance abuse and mental health concerns. It also accommodates people with other barriers to access, such as those who are disabled. - All of the services offered by Northeast Iowa Mental Health Center are provided by highly qualified and licensed therapists. They are also available in both Spanish and English, to increase the ability of most people to access these services. - The Northeast Iowa Mental Health Center also runs an integrated health home service that combines behavioral and medical care to support the social needs and health care requirements of local communities.
