Mid South Health System is part of the network of 14 community mental health centers providing services to the entire state. Formerly George W. Jackson, a state operated community mental health center, Mid-South became a non-profit organization in 1997. In 2010, we merged with Counseling Services of Eastern Arkansas expanding our services for children and adults across 13 counties. Our services include: Adult Outpatient Services, Child and Adolescent Services, Community Support Services (CSP), Substance Abuse Services. Mid-South Health Systems is a Comprehensive Private, Non-Profit Community Mental Health Center. Mid-South provides a full range of psychiatric and educational services to residents in the 13 county catchment area of Clay, Craighead, Crittenden, Cross, Greene, Lawrence, Lee, Mississippi, Monroe, Phillips, Poinsett, Randolph and St Francis counties.
