Since 1970, Long Beach Reach has provided professional services to individuals and families in the community including outpatient chemical dependency treatment, mental health treatment, teenage pregnancy prevention and counseling and alternatives for youth at risk of involvement with the criminal/juvenile justice system. REACH also provides prevention/education workshops in broad areas impacting the lives of young people and their families. In addition, REACH conducts an alternative high school diploma program, The Harriet Eisman Community School at Long Beach and Night Watch Crisis Hotline provides crisis telephone counseling.
