Everyone needs help sometime. And when that moment comes, you want the process to be as simple as possible. The Department understands how difficult seeking mental health services for yourself or your loved one can be, and continuously strives to improve program accessibility. Our providers, whether state operated or contracted private non-profits, are commissioned to provide services that promote consumer empowerment, wellness, recovery, and integration in the community. Building on the individual's strengths, mental health programs are designed to provide trauma-informed, gender sensitive, co-occurring, age appropriate and culturally competent treatment. Our services cover both mental health and substance abuse. Substance abuse services include: DUI - Alcohol and Drug Substance Abuse Course (ADSAC), Oklahoma Drug and Mental Health Courts, Problem and Compulsive Gambling Addiction, Tobacco Cessation.
