The Far West Center was founded in 1974 when it used to serve as a community effort dealing with grassroots issues. Over the years, it has been growing and it is now recognized as one of the leading provider of high quality and comprehensive behavioral and mental health care services in the region. These services are mostly available on an outpatient basis. - The agency takes care of adults who are struggling with mental health disorders, illnesses, and other related problems. In particular, most of these clients tend to experience issues in their daily lives, including but not limited to overwhelming circumstances and situations, stress, and other serious problems. - The team working at the center is highly experienced, licensed, and reactive to the needs of their clients. It is comprised of case managers, counselors, social workers, nurses, psychologists, and psychiatrists. This team at the Far West Center works in collaboration to provide high quality mental and behavioral health care services to over 2,000 individual clients and their families in the region.
