Drug Abuse Treatment Association Inc (DATA)/Outpatient
West Palm Beach, FL. 33407
Substance abuse is a serious problem in Florida. Children are exposed to drugs from many different sources - through their friends, adults, the media and a host of other ways - causing broken homes, broken lives and broken dreams. Our goal is to reach out to these youngsters and provide effective programs and services that will foster the skills necessary so they can become responsible, productive members of their community. Substance abuse does not discriminate and it can happen to any child, when we least expect it, and at alarming young ages. At DATA, we are changing lives every day. DATA Programs: Outpatient - Individuals and families participating in outpatient services can expect treatment based on their needs. The outpatient program utilizes multiple evidence-based treatment models including Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach (A-CRA), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). These treatment services are offered to adolescents only. Prevention - Prevention programs are provided to youth at selected middle and high schools in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River counties. Schools are selected based on need and willingness of the administration to participate/embrace the program.
