To provide a trauma informed service system that recognizes the potential for certain vulnerabilities of trauma survivors. Services are delivered in a way that will avoid re-traumatization and facilitate consumer participation in treatment. CREOKS assesses/screens all consumers for trauma both past and present using emerging best practices in the treatment of trauma. Develop and expand effective co-occurring education programs and methods. Reduce unnecessary social or economic consequences or dependencies, which the population served, may suffer as a result of mental illness or substance abuse. Minimize the cost of providing quality co-occurring services and prevent duplication of health resources. Work in cooperation with other agencies to support the overall system of health care delivery. Reduce family conflict, dysfunctional behavior, substance abuse, mental illness, and inappropriate social behavior within the community by improving the co-occurring of all segments of the population served.
