DMH clinical staff provide a complete array of necessary mental health services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Following a thorough assessment, treatment plans are tailored to meet the needs of each individual patient. Services may include individual, group, and family therapy with a trained therapist, psychiatric medical assessments with a Psychiatrist or Nurse Practitioner, supportive nursing services, crisis intervention, and care coordination. Most DMH Community Mental Health Centers provide the following services: Psychiatric Assessments, Community Support Services, Emergency Crisis Services, Crisis Stabilization Services, Individual and Family Education and Support, Outpatient Therapy (Individual, Family, and Group), Peer Support Services, Physician/Psychiatric Services, School based Services, Supported Living Services, and Targeted Case Management.
