The Addiction Treatment Program is designed to provide a full range of services across the entire continuum of care for patients ages 18 or over with a primary diagnosis of chemical dependency. A specialized inpatient hospital program provides a safe and supportive intensive treatment program for those patients who are concluded to be a danger to themselves or others due to either a substance abuse and/or psychiatric problem. Hospital based and medically monitored detoxification services provide a safe and controlled withdrawal from alcohol, opiates, and benzodiazepines. ASAM criteria will determine patient placement for those who require residential, partial hospital, or intensive outpatient programming. Abstinence, aggressive intervention, family participation, and sustained support are the key elements of addiction services.
