List of Short Term Drug and Alcohol Treatment Facilities In Englewood, Colorado

What is Short-Term Drug and Alcohol Treatment in Englewood, Colorado

A short term substance abuse program is best suited for short term substance users or abuser's that desire to stop abusing drugs or alcohol but are finding it difficult to do so. When you use substances that are habit forming even for a brief period of time you can become dependent. Drug and alcohol addiction exposes itself when you make the decision to stop taking the substance but you are struggling due to psychological and/or physical withdrawal symptoms. If you use a habit forming substance such as meth cocaine, heroin, vicodin, ativan, hydrocodone or various other potentially addictive drugs for even a short duration of time you may have a hard time stopping on your own without help. If this is the case, a short term drug and alcohol treatment facility in Englewood can help you.

When you quit addictive substances suddenly you may develop physical effects known as withdrawal symptoms. Withdrawal symptoms can produce both psychological and physical discomforts such as shakiness, weakness, clammy skin, craving, feeling cold, sweating, watery eyes, agitation, excitability, irritability, delirium, restlessness, hallucinations, depression, paranoia, severe anxiety etc... Withdrawal symptoms can induce urges to keep using the substance to relieve the symptoms despite your intent to quit taking the substance. If this sounds like you or your loved one's situation, then you could find recovery in a short term drug rehabilitation program.

The very first phase of a short term treatment center for addiction is detoxification. Medical detox is a process that works to manage withdrawal symptoms with medications designed to safely and comfortably ease you off the drug. After detoxification is complete, you will be given psychological assistance and education to help you maintain your recovery so that you may live a happy, drug-free life. A short term substance abuse program in Englewood, CO is usually only 28 to 30 days in length and the end results can change your life forever.
