List of Short Term Addiction Treatment Programs In Boulder, Colorado

Continued Care Following Short Term Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation in Boulder, Colorado

One of the advantages when you finish short term rehab is that you can later ease into long-term rehab. Therefore, continued care is appropriate for recovering individuals in Boulder who have relapsed or are at risk of relapse because they can involve themselves in another drug-free setting and continue effectively working on their addiction.

After you finish and leave a rehabilitation program, it is highly likely that you will encounter the same surroundings where you previously used drugs prior to going to rehab. This is because the same triggers - people, situations, and environment - that can influence you to start using again will still be there.

Since it can be very challenging to transition into the "real world" after leaving long-term treatment where you were able to remain engaged in treatment and support for a few months, you may feel that going to short term drug rehab in Boulder, CO. may potentially help you maintain your newly acquired sobriety, resolve, and conceptions against substance abuse.

During short term treatment, therefore, you will discover how to have a more positive and healthy lifestyle regardless of any challenging situations you may encounter. The treatment center will also help you to learn to think and act differently - which can prove useful in making sure that you are able to deal with any stress you face.

Other components of addiction treatment and continued care include:

  • How to create a more favorable environment at home and work
  • How to recognize triggers and avoid them
  • How to surround yourself with support through community groups, outpatient treatment, and stays at sober living facilities

Ultimately, short term rehabilitation will typically have a vast variety of rehabilitation methods that can help you apply new recovery skills in your life and keep on sticking to the new philosophies and morals you have learned once you leave the rehabilitation facility.
