List of Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Programs In North Little Rock, Arkansas

Who Needs Inpatient Alcohol and Drug Rehab in North Little Rock, Arkansas?

Inpatient alcohol and drug rehab programs in North Little Rock are ideal for many individuals with drug and alcohol use disorders. However, they are most successful for addicted individuals who are also battling co-occurring mental health conditions. Such patients may require round the clock support and medical supervision - which may not be available in an outpatient program.

In the same way, if you have participated in drug and alcohol addiction rehabilitation before through an outpatient facility or if you attempted inpatient treatment but were unsuccessful, then it is extremely likely that you could benefit from a more extended stay in a residential rehabilitation program.

Teens, in specific, also benefit from these facilities because they typically have more serious mental health issues co-occurring with their alcohol and drug disorders. As such, they may require rehab that deals with both conditions before they can recover totally.

Disadvantages of Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab

Inpatient facilities are offered in a number of settings - including but not limited to mental health centers and hospitals. Others are luxury or executive in format and may come with a myriad of amenities and services to make your journey to recovery smoother.

However, you may not benefit from these programs if:

You have concerns that you will be separated from your family, friends, social life, and professional commitments for too long.

You think that the cost of rehabilitation at an inpatient alcohol and drug rehab program in North Little Rock, AR. is too much for you to afford.

You would prefer recovering through an outpatient center before you commit to residential drug and alcohol addiction treatment.

However, in the majority of cases, inpatient alcohol and drug treatment tends to work successfully and has been proven time and time again to result in better outcomes overall. This is why it is the most highly recommended form of treatment available for individuals searching for recovery after months or years of intensive substance abuse and drug and alcohol addiction. As long as you enroll in such a facility in good time, therefore, it is extremely likely that you will achieve sobriety and abstinence faster.

Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock. Operating under separate articles of incorporation, the two facilities each expanded, offering treatment to both men and women and to include substance abuse treatment in general rather than just alcohol addiction.
