Emotional Problems and Drugs
People with good emotional health are in control of their thoughts, feelings,
and behaviors. They feel good about themselves and have good relationships.

lives that can emotional stress. If the person does not know how to deal with
it in the proper manner, they may look to drugs for relief. Emotional problems
and drugs are a bad combination. Stress and problems with family, work, or
school can sometimes trigger emotional problems. Drugs mask these problems
for the user but ultimately make it worse. However, people with good emotional
health have learned ways to cope with stress and problems without the need
of drugs.
